Step1. From
the Start menu, choose Control Panel.

Note: If
you are running Windows XP in classic mode, your will need to select
the Start menu, select Settings, then choose
Control Panel

Step 2.
Click the Switch to Classic View icon.

Step 3.
Double-click the Network Connections icon.

Step 4.
Click the Create a new connection icon.

Step 5.
Click the Next button.

Step 6.
Select Connect to the Internet. Then click the Next
button.

Step 7.
Select Set up my connection manually. Then click the
Next button.

Step 8.
Select Connect using a dial-up modem . Then click the
Next button.

Step 9. In
the ISP Name field, type a name to identify your connection.
Then click the Next button.

Step 10. In the
Phone number field, type your local access number exactly as
it needs to be dialed. Click the Next button.
Note: If you require 10-digit dialing in order
to access a local number, make sure to include your area code.
Note: Remember to check with your local
telephone company to make sure that the number you choose is a local
toll-free call.

IStep 11. In
the User name field, type your email address. Next, in the
Password field, type your password. In the Confirm
password field, type your password. Now uncheck the box next to
Use this account name and password when anyone connects to the
Internet from this computer. Uncheck the box next to Make
this the default Internet connection. Uncheck the box next to
Turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection.
Then click the Next button.

Step 12.
Check the box next to Add a shortcut to this connection to my
desktop if you wish to have a shortcut to the connection on your
desktop. Then click the Finish button.

Step 13.
Close all windows. From the Start menu, choose Connect
To.

Note: If
you are running Windows XP in classic mode, from the Start menu,
click Settings, and choose Network Connections.
Step 14.
Right-click your dial-up connection, then choose Properties.

Step 15.
Click on the Networking tab. Next, select Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) in the This connection uses the following
items list. Then click the Properties button.

Step 16.
Select Use the following DNS server address. In the
Preferred DNS server field, type 216.98.128.70. In the Alternate DNS server field, type 216.98.138.70 . Then Click the OK button.

Click the OK button.
Now, just plug in your Username and Password:
1) double-click on the Dialup you just created
2) type in your username@xxxx, according to the service you're using:
For CA & NV Service: "username"@webcasa.net
For US 200hr: "username".webcasa.net@ibizdialup.com
US Unlimited: "username".webcasa.net@anywhere
3) type in your password
4) click "Save Password" if you want the password saved, so you don't enter it every time.
(if no one else can acces your computer that you don't want to access the Internet)
Note:
No symbols or characters can be used anywhere in a username.
Usernames may contain underscores or hyphens ("_" or "-") but no periods.
The following characters are not valid in a username:
~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + ` - = [ ] { } \ | : ; " ' , . < > / ? * and so on.
Your computer is now configured to connect to the
Internet. |
