Attention: If you have a version prior to 1.1v4 then click here to down load an update so that you will have the newest version.
The three check boxes at the bottom should not be
checked. Fill in the fields using the information below. Substitute
<Full Name> for your full name, <User Name> for your user
name, screen name, or logon name, and <password> with your password.
Once you have made the changes click
When a connection is in progress the "Connection Status" window should look like it does below. If it finds new mail you will see a progress bar indicating mail download. It will also tell you how many messages you have.
When you receive mail they will in the "Browser" so you can look
at them. Your messages will be listed in the "In Box" (you may have to
click on it) in the order you received them in (by default). To view any
message, simply double click on it.
In the "Subject:" field type the subject of the message
you are sending. Under "Recipient" type the Name of the person you are
sending the message to. Under "Address" type the e-mail address of the
person you are sending the messages to. "Destination" will be filled in
automatically. Type the body of your message in the large field at the
bottom. Once you are ready to send the message click To view any message you have sent before click on the "Out Box" in the browser. By default, they will be listed in the order you sent them. Here you can also delete old messages you no longer need. To view any message simply double click it.
The following window will appear. You will need to make it
look almost exactly like the picture below. Put a check next to "webcasa.net
", give the schedule a name, Change the "connection type:" to "Repeating
Connection", and select the frequency you wish the program to check for
mail at. Click
The "Connection Status" window will then appear as it does below. This tells you when the connection will next run.
There are many other features of Claris Emailer Lite 1.0 that I will not go into here. Features like the "Address Book" and "Filing Cabinet" are very useful but you will have to read the manual on how to use them. |
