Netscape Communicator 4

 

 

First go to the "Edit" menu and release on  "Preferences..."

 

You will then see the following window. Change the home bake location to: http://www.webcasa.net/

 

 

Click on the little arrow next to "Mail & Groups"  then click on "Identity"

You will then see the following window will appear. Fill out the information like this:

Your name:

<<Your full name>>

Email address:

<<Your e-mail address>>

Reply-to address:

<<Your e-mail address>>

Organization:

webcasa.net

 

 

Now click on "Mail Server"

 

The following window will appear. Fill in the necessary information as follows:

Mail server user name:

<<user name>>

Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:

smtp.webcasa.net

Incoming mail server:

pop.webcasa.net

Communicatior 4.5 is a little different at this point, you will need to click the "Add" button and enter the Incomming mail server name and your user name, and then click "OK". Then enter the outgoing mail server information in the Mail Servers window towards the botton, there is no user name required for the outgoing mail server.

 

 

Now click on "Groups Server"

The following window will appear. In the "Discussion groups (news) server:" type in news.webcasa.net

Again Communicator 4.5 is different, you will have to click the "Add" button to enter this information then click "OK" to get back to this window.

 

 

That is all the configuration that needs to be done. Just click the button. You can check your mail by going up to the window menu ( ) and release on messenger in box. Just double click on any message you want to view.
